Ryan North is the New York Times bestselling, Eisner-award winning creator of Dinosaur Comics, the co-editor of the Machine of Death novel series, the children’s picture book How To Be A T. Rex, and the ‘choose your own path’ version of Shakespeare classics To Be or Not To Be and Romeo and/or Juliet. His most recent original work is the novel How To Invent Everything, a cheat-sheet to humanity. He is best known to comic fans as the original writer of the Adventure Time comic book series, and the writer of the New York Times Bestselling graphic novel series The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, which is very popular amongst ‘young adults’ of all ages.

Did you know that Ryan’s work on Jughead for Archie Comics won him an Eisner Award, and then THAT ended up as the question on Jeopardy this year? Crazy.

Ryan attends TCAF in support of his ongoing work on the Squirrel Girl series, as well as all of his many other amazing projects. He lives in Toronto with his wife Jenn, and his dog Noam Chompsky.
