After studying at the Montpellier School of Fine Arts, Émilie Plateau moved to Brussels where she began to make comics, first as personal fanzines and then with publishing houses. Works included “Like a plateau”, 2012 and “On the other side in Montreal”, 2014, and Misma “Me no more”, 2015. In 2019, at Dargaud, she adapted Tania de Montaigne’s book “Noire : la vie méconnue de Claudette Colvin” (tentative English title Black: The Unknown Life of Claudette Colvin), which has been published digitally in English by EuropeComics.
