Arsenal Pulp Press is a book publisher in Vancouver, Canada, established in 1971. We have over 400 titles currently in print, which includes a range of subjects such as literary fiction and nonfiction; YA, children’s books, gender studies; LGBTQ fiction and non-fiction and graphic novels. In recent years, we have begun publishing more graphic novels including translations from Europe as well as original Canadian authored/illustrated works.
Graphic highlights include Becoming Unbecoming by Una and Such a Lovely Little War by Marcelino Truong, both named to the New York Times’ 10 best graphic novels of 2016. Other titles include the LGBTQ biography The Case of Allan Turing by Eric Liberge and Arnaud Delalande, the international bestseller Blue is the Warmest Color by Julie Maroh, David H.T. Wong’s story of Chinese immigration to North America, Escape to Gold Mountain, and Gord Hill’s First Nations classic The 500 Years of Resistance Comic Book as well as his most recent, The Antifa Comic Book 100 Years of Fascism and Antifa Movements. New graphic titles in 2019 include Death Threat by Vivek Shraya and Dear Scarlet: The Story of My Postpartum Depression by Teresa Wong.
