TCAF, along with our partners Ensemble contemporain de Montreal (ECM+) and Continuum Contemporary Music, are thrilled to bring you Hockey Noir, a multimedia chamber opera. Set in the 1950s, the classic hockey rivalry between Toronto and Montreal takes centre stage with a side of organized crime. Love, lust, scandal, blood, betrayal – in sudden death, who wins and who loses is determined not by fate but by the final shot!
Hockey Noir was written by TCAF Featured Guest Cecil Castellucci, and features artwork by Toronto illustrator Kymberlyn Porter. Showtimes are May 10th and 11th at 8pm, and a 2pm matinee on May 11th. For more info and tickets, check out continuummusic.org.
