The Toronto Comic Arts Festival is excited and honoured to unveil TCAF 2017 posters from two of this year’s Featured Guests: Jeff Lemire and Sana Takeda!
Jeff’s poster captures not only the many identities that people get to explore through comics, but also the amazing sense of community that comes from sharing them! The fun of comics (and TCAF) is not only about reading so many great stories, but also enjoying them with the people around you. Rendered in Jeff’s signature style, this poster embodies how comics allow people to see themselves and find each other through life-changing stories and art.
Thank you, Jeff!
Sana’s poster offers us a look at how, through books, a single reader can tap into a rich world of imagination, myth, history, and fantasy. We are so excited to have such an eye-catching poster; one which draws people in, inviting us all to look and find a bit of ourselves (I’m the scorpion). Sana’s poster really captures how, whether posted online or written in the stars, comics (and TCAF) are full of so many different and amazing stories.
Thank you, Sana!
